Traveling God’s World in a Lifetime at High-Speed

Originally written Sept. 29, 2025

Standing in a Grand, Old, Steam Engine, Train Station. There was a giant Clock keeping track of the precise time.  This was the first inkling this would be a big, overall view of time and space. An Isaiah type of picture and timeline. Where the past, present and future can all be present and experienced at the same time. Maybe even prophetic, like the Old Testament stories of Sodom and Gomorrah or the Israelites great escape crossing the Red Sea on dry ground. Putting God’s Providence on display for all to see!

I could feel the dust tickling the inside of my nose from the Old Station. The dust alerted me to a time before my own. People, their journeys, generations of life and nations all moving forward through time. Just as God Created all things out of dust and at the end of our journeys on earth our bodies (vessels/engines) return to dust. (Eccl.3:20 see scriptures below)

nm,/\[pytehe train station’s visual atmosphere was much like the train station in the movie Hugo. Which I hadn’t seen but once, in a past time. It was dark, dusty and full of steam engines billowing steam under hot pressure amid a lot of hustle and bustle from all the people traveling.

In the movie, the little boy, whose parents had both passed, (journeys ended), peered out of the giant clock. It was much like God looking to and fro over men’s affairs on the earth (2Chron.16:9 see below). The passage of a lifetime was at a quickened pace. Connecting people, places and things together for a certain purposeful outcome.  His vessels (engines) were somewhat oblivious to their perfectly timed choices or direction of their own lives! Too busy looking for the next connection for their next destination.  God the Father is the great Conductor. Deliberate and purposeful, connecting all the dots in perfect harmony. All interconnected, intermingled and intricately designed engines/vessels with certain goals and purposes sometimes, only known to the Creator Himself. This is the Father’s story of His Creation on earth and His Son Jesus.

These trains represented a long journey.  Much like my own journey with the Lord, on earth as it is in heaven.  The connection between life on earth and life in the spiritual place with prayer as the connector or mortar of both. The journey of God’s indwelled Holy Spirit stationed inside each believer in Christ.  Each must learn to walk in the Spirit of God while living out their lives on earth. Some of these journeys are already memories while new pathways and territories are not yet seen or ventured. Some known by the Father alone, to be played out in the future with joy by the child. God is on this journey with His children, always to guide and direct for good and not evil.  He promises them He will never leave them or forsakes them. New exciting adventures will grow them up and teach life lessons needed for each individual journey causing them to look to God and to know Him more.

The movie starts with a child peering out of the #4 on the giant clock. He was looking down on all the doings of the station.  People running for trains, saying hello and goodbye, vendors selling their wares, musicians performing, café’s serving.   Almost as you might imagine, God looking down on His creation, seeing everything all at once, to access the comings and goings of the people.  Much like He did at Sodom and Gomorrah or at the escape through the Red Sea.

The biblical symbolism of the #4 on the giant clock is: Creation, Completeness, and Divine Order.  Associated with 4 seasons on earth, 4 corners of the earth, 4 Gospel books.  God’s completing all that He has begun by His design (Philp 1:6; Esk. 1). Thus, was a picture of people, places and times on earth over a lifetime as the Eternal God and His Creation Story is being completed in His Divine Way and Timing.

Each of the four seasons is distinct from each other.  Each season of life can be equally as individually intricate in design and scope. God oversees them all. Reading Dan. 7 (Scriptures below) is a time or season where God judges His enemies and ends the earthly kingdom to replace with the Everlasting Kingdom of Christ. This is when the saints of the Most High receive the Promised Kingdom not of man but of God.  Completeness, Divine Order at the Fathers appointed time to end one kingdom (journey) and begin a new one! Old becomes obsolete and the new replaces the old just as one generation ends and another begins. Just as He created the Old Testament and the New! The full circle of life.

Steam engines have also had a history in due season. Steam engines were at their peak efficiency between the mid-19th century and the mid-20th century.  This age (season) of the steam engine was called “The Golden Age of Steam”.  We have heard a certain President of the US speaking about coming into a “Golden Age”. Steam and Water in the Bible often are used to describe the Holy Spirit.  Steam is Water under high pressure until it explodes.  Could it mean a “Golden Age” of the Holy Spirit exploding on the earth? We are currently in an age or period of Grace prior to the grand conclusion of Gods story.

Found myself standing with a group of close friends I have known for 40 plus years, watching the trains.  We were all standing “silent” (which rarely happens in this group) in utter wonder and amazement, of the swift moving steam engines. How did they stay on track at such speeds without a crash?  The engines were racing at a swift rate in a dark station on tracks that intertwined with each other on a giant maze of tracks like a roller coaster.   The steam from the engines filled the place so that often they would disappear for a moment and then re-appear.  These old trains were perfectly maintained, running at their highest level of efficiency.

My husband and I had just travelled by plane this past summer of 2025 to see old friends. Some we hadn’t “seen” for 25-30 years. The number 25 has biblical themes of God’s abundant grace, redemption and love for humanity. Grace upon grace (John 1:14, 16-17).  Understanding divine connections. A place where people offer continuous spiritual support for each other on their faith journey.  It emphasizes the balance between God’s works of His hands and the human participation in spiritual matters.

These are 40+ year friendships. The number 40 symbolizes a period of testing, trial or probation.  Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years.  Moses fasted for 40 days. Jesus was tempted for 40 days.  This brings out themes of endurance and spiritual growth.  Endurance is required to live out life on earth and a faith walk with Jesus in a fallen world.  And we are not to walk it out on earth alone but with others who also follow Jesus. Do you hear the unity in these numbers and their biblical significance?  They all point toward the connection between the natural physical man and a man’s spiritual journey.

These treasured friends came together to honor the selling of a summer home we had all enjoyed in our earlier years.  After the long seasons that had passed in between, we found ourselves in the present, laughing and playing as if no time had gone by.  These were the same friends, in this vision, who stood watching these steam engines. Last summer we were all experiencing our friendship due to our solid connections formed long ago. Now, they were with me in this vision to experience a future event.  Experiencing the past, present and future at one time. What future event?

We could have never known, so many years ago, that these friendships would last a lifetime (#40 – endurance).  We had all stood next to each other getting married, having children, grandchildren, deaths of parents and siblings, friends, and even moving far from one another.  Now it seemed God was making (laying the track) for the next connection.  We were totally unaware of those connections being made many decades ago but fully known by the God. No different than the present, when only God knows what lies ahead for each of us.  While often unbeknownst to the vessels, the Connector/Conductor (God), Who is purposeful in all His Ways, was perfectly crafting/completing His storyline right before their eyes.  For all who had eyes that see and ears that hear both from a physical and spiritual space in time (Rom. 1:20; Esk. 12:2 see below). Amazing God!

These engines were moving at a very swift rate in the darkness and the fog of steam.  We stood in utter amazement at the sight.  The vessels were all perfectly maintained and running in tip top condition. In so many directions and so intertwined with one another.  These relationships in the same way are intertwined and feeding off each other.  This is God’s faithfulness and care of His children and their vessels that He created for them to walk on the earth.  To keep them on the righteous right paths.  They are filled with His Spirit while they journey on earth. To accomplish their God given missions on earth.    But this is not our home.  Christians are just passing through! Onto their destination to Eternity with God, full of inheritance, awaiting what GOD PREPARED AHEAD OF TIME for them.

At times the front of the engines would slow down slightly to open and swallow a smaller engine in front of it. Then the engine would carry on, with even more efficiency, as if that were possible!  They were trains inside of trains.  Safe and secure at a quick rate. This slowdown made no mark in all the other engines carrying out their same swift speeds, goals, and destinations.  They seemed to run in perfect harmony with each other, with certain purpose, for certain designated accomplishment. Meeting all their appointed times with utter accuracy.   A timetable we were unaware of but obviously being carried out with perfection.  It was an amazing sight to behold!

The harmony, the intricacy of the connections and tracks reminded me of the Book of Ezkiel 1:15-28 with wheels inside of wheels.  This section also repeats the #4.   The wheels could move forward in all four directions never turning aside.  They looked like wheels in the middle of a wheel. The Bible says the noise of the wheels beside the noise of the winged creatures, made a great thunderous noise.  This is the hustle and bustle in the train station.  A tumult of the people. The wheels harmony of their movement was like these trains inside of trains.  God seeing everyone of them intimately and perfectly.

These engines inside of engines represented the generations of God’s Creation.  They never missed a timeline. The engines became more efficient each time they swallowed up the previous generation’s journey. The Bible calls the generations God’s posterity (Psalm 22:30; 37:37). As one generation left (engine departed) to gain its eternal reward the next generation moved forward. They were equipped with gifts and talents the previous generation didn’t need for their journey but would be entirely necessary for the current generation. Gifts and talents for each generation are given faithfully by God for their use in and for the Body of Christ.  These gifts, the Bible says, are irrevocable.

This swallowing up of the engines is also a “safe refuge” each time an engine was hidden within another. In the refuge no matter the darkness of the hour, the refuge offered safety and security for the engine. No different than a believer hidden in Christ Jesus.  Covered in His righteousness as they have none of their own.  In God’s Armor, Under His wings and covered in the blood of Christ.

The blindness from the puffs of steam represents the dependence required of the believer on God and Holy Spirit to navigate in the midst of not seeing or even perceiving what is ahead.  Like an airline pilot depending on dials to navigate through storms and clouds.  Christians navigate the kind of walk they have with God. Allowing some things and resisting others so their conduct may be fitting of an ambassador for Christ.

Many saints have blind spots they cannot see and can be held captive to a thinking that may need to be pruned.  Lies that masquerade as truth need to be pruned.  God knows the spots and can help us to overcome them especially when He desires to have them cut off going into a new season.

Discerning blind spots, forces believers to evaluate/examine themselves as to what they might be trusting in and leaning on to preserve them.   They will have to determine if it is trustworthy and solid or false and weak. Feet solid in the rock of salvation remain steadfast in faith. Leaning or trusting in a false life preserver, which is often offered by man in a fallen world, will not hold or bring truth to withstand the blind spots or waves of deceitful lies that come to make a believer doubt God.  False gods, idols such as money or health insurance are treasures in the world but will not save for eternity. Steadfastness faith takes nothing less than full honest, dependence on God and His Provisions particularly those of His Providence. Full dependence by faith and trust in the One and Only God Who knows the end from the beginning is the place of quietness, peace and assurance of Salvation into and onto Eternity.

Very interesting that God unfolded this message to me using steam engines.  My grandfather worked on the Chicago Transit Authority tracks.  My dad earned his living working on diesel trains. My grandfather was an immigrant from Italy and knew no English. My dad had to have his older brothers translate so he could understand his dad.  My grandfather worked outside all year round.  He used the newspaper he couldn’t read and stuffed his pants with it to keep warm in the cold winter months.   A different use of talent, gift or provision?

The news today is so questionable to its truthfulness. Newspapers themselves are almost obsolete. It’s being replaced with different media engines that all require discernment on so many tracks and at so many levels at one time.   Just like the trains had their seasons, so have been the seasons of change in our media, economy and political systems, over the ages.  It makes you wonder what it will look like even in another year!

My brothers and I had not met my grandfather as he died before we were born. They passed along my grandfather’s history after I asked regarding the understanding of this vision. Just as my father’s older brothers passed down the English translation to my dad.  My older brothers passed down history to me for understanding. Trusting the God Who connects it altogether. Learning to lean on the Holy Spirit of truth and scripture to avoid the false and deceptive narratives is a solid rock on which to stand.  All other ground is sinking sand.

I remember when my dad passed, to go to be with the Lord, I had to let go of him.  I remember God impressing upon me that my dad had “completed” all that God had asked him to do in his lifetime, in his generation.  It was time for him to come and get his reward.  Letting go is important to grab hold fully of the best in the new season.  It’s the natural pruning process of God on relationships so to produce more fruit on the vine connected to Christ.

My grandfather made his own wine.  He would take a thermos of new wine every day to have with a meal.  This reminded me of the scripture to not pour new wine into an old wineskin, or the sweet wine will burst out of the old wineskin and be wasted (Matt.9:17 see below).  Do not let the past spoil or rob your future.  Stand Still and know that He is God.  Trust Him to know exactly what He is doing in each individual and as well as in the body of Christ.  Stand steadfast in faith and watch what He is about to do.  Seek out the new season God will show the way. The new thing!

There seemed to be a warning to stay close to Him to hear how Holy Spirit will instruct to use gifts, talents and provisions in the future.  God may be directing us to “not” take them and their uses for granted. They may be used differently in the future than in past seasons.  Do not go on autopilot and use gifts and talents in the most familiar ways as accustomed to doing in past seasons.  Instead, take a step back in the Spirit to ask and hear how to move as He directs in the new season. Maybe there will be more awareness on the earth of Holy Spirit movements. This new season was going to be unlike any they had experienced in life up to that point.   We currently have no idea what that may look like!  But we know the God Who does!

The fact that these engines never stopped and never crashed into each other is God’s Providence. Can you imagine witnessing the Israelites walking over dry land in the middle of the Red Sea?!  Even when the steam blinded our eyesight in the physical, God had full control and brought it out right on time without delay in one beautiful piece.  In His Supernatural Way!  We were all amazed by this Providence of God. It was as if God were saying, just do your part as Holy Spirit directs and My Providence will take care of all the appointed timelines and connections and switching of tracks. This same preciseness of time and accuracy is reflected in the accuracy and precision of His Word.  The believers do their part, and God will oversee for the completion of His storyline with great purpose and accomplishment.  As if to say, “Be still and know that I am God!”

God knows where we have “fallen” short of the glory of God. We live in a “fallen” world due to our sin nature. BUT GOD has the escape, the refuge and the solution from that sin nature through His gift to every Whosoever who will believe on Him.   The salvation/gift that Jesus offers to every Whosoever is by grace thru faith. They choose to receive His sacrifice on the cross by faith thru underserved grace to pay the sin debt on their behalf. Salvation received, opens the door of eternity by faith in Christ’s finished work at the cross.  That way no one can boast about their own good works or earn their way into heaven’s domain. God knew we couldn’t keep the 10 commandments. Only the purity of the Lamb of God could do it for us. This was the acceptable sacrifice. Thank You Jesus!

The speed of the trains coinciding with this darkness and the fog of the steam symbolizes quick, swift, speedy, judgment.  This may be judgment of the wick and wickedness on earth or God’s final promise coming forth of full restoration or both at the same time!  In a moment everything can change when God’s Providence and Appointed times come forth. An overnight change! When every tear will be gone and death is overcome by Eternity. The believer in a Golden Age of Steam of Holy Spirit may be the witness or see the witness of the Holy Spirit in ways not experienced in any other season of life on earth.  The believer is safe and secure, hidden in the refuge of God from the judgment.  They will be brought safely through.  As the guarantor, the Holy Spirit is present to open the door to Eternity as well as to keep that which we have given against the day of Judgment.  So now is the time to sort out with God your part, in this age of grace, so you may enter His Kingdom Come, His will be done, on Earth as it is in heaven.

The dark that these engines were traveling is the darkness on the earth that sin and the evil in the present produces.  The darkness paired with the speed of the engine with only one spotlight in the front of the engine to light the way is significant.  It represents the darkness of this current age and the evil that is unparalleled in other seasons.  The Bright headlamp is the light of Christ in every believer that as they cast the light of Christ into the darkness.  The light swallows up and replaces the darkness. The darkness must flee!  The same message God gives the believer to resist evil, and it will flee.

The new Season?  Don’t know what that is going to look like But We Know the God Who does.  The next event will come, and we will be safe in the refuge of God. But make no mistakes, His end of the story for the Saints of the Most High is on its way.  Were closer now than ever before to His Return.

As our Master Conductor prepares for His destination points for His Creation, there is great anticipation on earth as in heaven.  The Final Destination for each individual is based on their decision to accept or reject Christ’s work at the cross on their behalf.  To use their gift of faith to open the door to an Eternal Inheritance we can’t imagine or know.  Rejection is life permanently separated from God.  A place in a fiery pit where thirst is never quenched and heat is never relieved.  Each gets to choose in freedom.  Know God. Know His grace, peace, mercy and especially His love for you.  He has prepared a place for you.  Know the assurance of the gift of Eternal Salvation.

In a lifetime of connections, delays and intertwined relationships of the generations, is our Providential, Always on Time God, weaving His story for good and purpose for all mankind.  Amazing God.

Amen.

NUMBER 4:

1Thes.5:1-6,9-11

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman.  And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.  You are all sons of light and sons of the day.  We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as other do, but let us watch and be sober.

v.9-11 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

SALVATION:

Psalm 25:5

Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of muy salvation; On You I wait all the day.

Ephesians 1:7-13

In Him we have redemption through His blood. The forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Eph. 2:4-10

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.  For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

WALKING IN SPIRIT:

Galatians 5:16-18

I say then: Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.  For the flesh lusts against the Sprit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.  But if are led by the Sprit, you are not under the law.

REFUGE

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, Even though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Through the mountains shake with its swelling. TRAIN INSIDE OF TRAIN REFUGE:

Note:  All of Ezekiel Chapter 1 is pertinent in imagery and understanding.

Esk. 1:15-17

Now as I looked at the living creatures, behold, a wheel was on the earth beside each living creature with its four faces. The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness.  The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. When they moved, they went toward any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they went.

Esk. 1:20

Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, because there the spirit went; and the wheels were lifted together with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. When those went, these went; when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up together with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

Esk. 1:24

When they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of any army; and when they stood still, they let down their wings.

OVERLOOKING MAN’S AFFAIRS:

Isaiah 29:9-11-13

Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind? They are drunk, but not with wine; They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink.  For the Lord has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets;  And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.  The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “read this, please.” And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed. ”Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying “Read this, please.” And he says “I am not literate.”  Therefore the Lord said:

‘Inasmuch as these people draw near to me with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, Therefore, behold I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.

Rev. 1:17-19

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.  But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.   I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.  Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.  Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.
